 Decided to make major changes in life to be more productive and a better human. The first change that comes to mind is to start reading books and write about things again. 

In love with this image. I am using this image as one of my motivational images. This beautiful image symbolizes so many things. The main one being the courage to take a step towards something we believe in or to stand against something you think is not right.  My man went grocery shopping and while coming back, took a small step that made him an historic icon. All it takes is a single step towards something we believe in and face the consequences of it (good or bad) later. The longer we look into this picture, the more we think.

It’s been a while since I wrote something. The reasons are the following. Lazy. Social life. Physical health. Career growth. (Partially)   The first reason being the main one, I’ve been busy doing the other mentioned ones quiet a lot. Nothing makes you question your career choice more than facing financial problems along with mental stress and unworthiness of the job. Since then, there are few changes that were made which are helping me reach my goal, slowly.  The one thing I picked up while reading “The Atomic Habits” book are these small changes which adds up to our growth. Planning to stick to these changes till the goal is reached. Surrounding myself with positive, inspiring people is also helping out a lot. Hope this continues and will be back with a bang very soon now that I’ve started writing again.

     One of the constants of our lives is change. Everyone change. Some for good, some for bad. Would we continue our relationship with someone whom we have judged to be a bad person?      Like most of the things, there are multiple ways in which this can be handled. The best way of dealing with things changes from person to person, but there cannot be a Right way to deal with things as it will again, change with perspective.      The best way is to deal with life is to learn about ourselves. Understand what we want, what makes us happy and gives joy.      Life is tough as it is but if we're stuck doing things we don't like, hang out with people with whom we fake our personality... just complicates things.       Since we've established that life is tough and has it's own problems, finding / making new problems would not help fix the Life problem. “You do not need a therapist if you own a motorcycle, any kind of motorcycle!”   The quote pretty much says it all. Many people buy motorcycles just to travel from one place to another. Very few buy it to enjoy the rides, visit new places and feel the positive vibes when the wind hits our face. I was one among those who brought it to ignore the daily mundane routines and enjoy small rides. It is a beautiful feel when you and your bike are on the same page while on road. When you read many self-help books, you can relate small things that happen to you and make an example out of it. A thousand obstacles comes in our way while riding a motorcycle, it is important that we stay focused all the time. Even if you follow all traffic safety rules, it just takes one idiot on road to fuck up things for you. Since we parted ways after college, my friends and I rarely meet. When we meet or connect over the phone, we spend majority of the time complaining about how broken the organization  we work is, how unfair our manager treats us and how we are working / doing something we do not like. It is very rare to meet a person who says that they're actually enjoying the work they do everyday.  The compromise we do here is, getting paid for doing this work that we hate. I'm u sing the word HATE cause ,  Doing something we are not interested leads to Not liking that some work we do leads  to HATE the work we do. We develop hate, frustration, anger, losing interest in things, absent minded and other beautiful "qualities"  over the time doing this work.  When folks to whom you report to, asks / demands you to work more or do the work faster, we will show off  these new qualities to the ones around us, which really is messed up. “ Life moves so fast. You gotta document the good times, man. ” –  Big Boi        Coronavirus took everyone by surprise. Nobody were prepared for the disaster that was heading our way, including majority of workplaces. This worked to my advantage as I got to work from home. This pandemic situation helped me spend time with my family, which I very much needed. I was one of the blessed ones who got an opportunity to connect with their loved ones and learn things. Hanging out with my mother and father, helping sister with her studies added on my daily routine. Since we had a lot of time, my dad and I started playing carrom after finding an old, dusty carrom board in the attic. Playing in this old board got on our nerves.
