The Internet – A Giant Web of Wires, Numbers, and Magic!

Image
Hello, fellow curious minds! Ever wondered how the internet actually works? I mean, you type something in Google, hit Enter, and boom — the answer appears faster than your mom asking, “Who ate the last cookie?” But what happens behind the scenes? Is it magic? A group of highly trained pigeons delivering your data? Nope. Let’s break it down in a way that even your WiFi-hating grandma would understand. 1. The Internet: A Giant Web of Wires (Yes, Literally!) Most people think the internet is somewhere in the air . Nope. It’s actually a giant mess of wires running across the world. 🧐 So how does your Instagram meme reach you? • Your phone or computer sends a request through your WiFi. • That request travels through underground fiber optic cables (or WiFi towers). • If it’s going far, the request jumps across the ocean via undersea cables — yep, the internet swims to you! • Finally, it reaches a big computer (server) somewhere in the world, wh...

Work Hard, Party Harder – A Developer’s Life!

Hello, everyone! It’s time for another update, and this time, I want to talk about my current work life. I recently joined a project where I’m developing something that will soon be used by the public. No pressure, right? My job involves coding, thinking logically, understanding the product’s functionality, and basically pretending to know everything while secretly Googling half of it (just kidding… or am I?). But the best part of this job? The people! The Dream Team I work with an amazing bunch — my lead and fellow developers are just like me: knowledge-hungry, hardworking, and constantly striving to make things better and learn something new. It’s refreshing to be surrounded by people who share the same mindset. I belong to Squad 1 (yes, we sound like an elite special forces team, and we like to believe we are). My squad lead is basically me — but with a lead title and an added mission: to make our squad the best-performing one . No pressure, boss, we got this! Then there’...

Picking Up the Pen (or Keyboard) After a Long Break!

Hello, everyone! It’s been a while — almost three years — since my last post. Life got busy, priorities shifted, and this blog took a backseat. But today, I’m back, ready to reconnect and share my thoughts again. Recently, a few friends and readers asked why I stopped blogging, which made me reflect on how much I’ve missed writing. No matter how busy life gets, we should always make time for what we love. Writing has always been a creative outlet for me — a space to express, reflect, and connect. So, I’ve decided to dust off this space and start sharing once more. This time around, I hope to bring fresh ideas, new perspectives, and content that resonates with you. Whether it’s personal experiences, insights, or just thoughts worth sharing, I want this blog to be a space that inspires and engages. To those who’ve been here before, thank you for sticking around. And if you’re new, welcome! — I look forward to this journey together.  Stay tuned for more! See you in the...

Challenge 75 Hard.

Based on a Book by Andy Frisella, this challenge seems to be interesting. This one helps us stay hydrated, away from junk and alcohol, flexible exercise plan and reading. These are one among many goals I set up every year or start of every month, but fail to achieve. So, on 20th of February, I'm starting this challenge. More on the challenge below. The challenges are: Exercise twice each day for 45 minutes. (one must be outdoors) Drink 4 liters of water per day. Pick a diet or eating plan and stick to that plan. No Junk. Read a minimum of 10 pages every day of growth mindset material or self-help book. Take one progress photo each day.      Some rules seems to be vague and working out everyday without rest for 75 days is not a good idea, but it also gives us room to choose an exercise that might be easy to do everyday.      The main goal here is to achieve Discipline which once done, will help achieve other aspirations.

Changes…

Decided to make major changes in life to be more productive and a better human. The first change that comes to mind is to start reading books and write about things again.

Tank man

In love with this image. I am using this image as one of my motivational images. This beautiful image symbolizes so many things. The main one being the courage to take a step towards something we believe in or to stand against something you think is not right.  My man went grocery shopping and while coming back, took a small step that made him an historic icon. All it takes is a single step towards something we believe in and face the consequences of it (good or bad) later. The longer we look into this picture, the more we think.

Status update.

It’s been a while since I wrote something. The reasons are the following. Lazy. Social life. Physical health. Career growth. (Partially)   The first reason being the main one, I’ve been busy doing the other mentioned ones quiet a lot. Nothing makes you question your career choice more than facing financial problems along with mental stress and unworthiness of the job. Since then, there are few changes that were made which are helping me reach my goal, slowly.  The one thing I picked up while reading “The Atomic Habits” book are these small changes which adds up to our growth. Planning to stick to these changes till the goal is reached. Surrounding myself with positive, inspiring people is also helping out a lot. Hope this continues and will be back with a bang very soon now that I’ve started writing again.
